I recall an afterschool TV special that warned against the dangers of mixing Ponies and Teacups!

I do think it's odd but since I have to admit to owning, the Disney versions of Candyland, Monopoly, Mr. Potato Head and HM Clue :) all bought because they were Disney versions of something I had in my childhood, I guess I won't say anything negative :)

Next, Disney GI Joe for the boys, no wait Disney "He Man and the Masters of the Universe" :)

For once thing, they are not Disney (I may be mistaken on this but I do not recall this being a Disney franchise). Plus, they have many small parts that are detachable..not good for younger kids who love to put everything they can grab in their mouths.

Who knows, maybe they're putting the ponies in the next Toy Story movie, then they will automatically become "Disney" characters like Mr. Potato Head did. ;o)

Well at least this will allow for some unique personalization. There aren't any treasures in the castle anymore...

I honestly don't know really what to think... I guess they are trying to lure a new generation into something. WHen I was a kid we didn't have my little pony, we had real cool horse models. I guess my lil pony probably just doesn't appeal to me at all. But then again I am not the target market for this product.

as long as Disney doesn;t venture into video games like Grand Theft Auto...and have someone hijack the Monorail...etc....I really see no harm

For myself I would rather see my collectible level HM - Pirates etc stuff..but for the little ones -- an Aurora My Little Pony is probably fine
