It's too bad that it is outside the gates, instead of in front of the theater or some place else within the park. I really like how the garlands and lamp decorations on Hollywood Blvd and the things along Sunset really fit in with the theme. They may be tacky by modern standards, but they really add to the period theming of that part of the park. I just wish there was a better spot for that neat tree (I'm a huge fan of the Santa lights).

    As for the crowds, try going last thing at night or during "Fantasmic!". You risk not seeing any snowfall, but the "claustrophobia factor" is greatly reduced.

    Of course there is.

    Right in front of the Chinese Theater at the dead center of the park ... where it used to reside before Disney built a giant pin shack.

    Just another casualty of really inept management.
