The low loading structure, the smaller (less coaster like) vehicles, the scale of the foilage, and the formation of the ponds and rocks at the base of the Matterhorn are all attributes that Everest can borrow. I know there is still a long way to go, but I am surprised there is not more rockcover on that turn (like the arch on the matterhorn).

That thing has been bugging me ever since it went up. I think there's a way to diminish it, and my guess is they've not done any paint treatments on it yet. With a textured and lighter coloring, it won't look quite as out of scale as it does now. But it sure does spoil the scale right now.

Everest will be a great addition to DAK, though, even if they should have left the orginal name -- Forbidden Mountain.

And they come to a note about the project manager on EVEREST... At the end, it mentions that, regarding the Yeti making his appearance within the caverns, he has ongoing consultations with George Scribner, supervisor of WDI Animation (poor George, once a director of films... but maybe he's happy there) - to determine "exactly how a massive, mythical creature would MOVE THROUGH THE CAVERN." So it will be interesting to see how he moves THROUGH the cavern, indeed.

My guess is, there will be some effort to make the Yeti move along a hidden track, even if for only a few feet. This is, after all, their showpiece element, the "star" of the show. And I know a lot of money is going into the animatronics.
