I think the general consensus around here is that most of us are OK with that. And I'm sort of kind of starting to get the impression that Bellella might not be.

Originally Posted By DlandDug >>The fact that they aren't utilizing the area during the night...<< The area is kept open at night. Crowds still gather to watch fireworks, and the passageway to Frontierland is open. They just don't do the shows and meet 'n greet. The official word is that they will use this exclusively as Fantasy Faire until they see how the public reaction works out. My guess is that they want to have the option of extending into evening hours before deciding about the return of swing dancing. If they can keep families in there, most likely the dancing will remain at Downtown Disney. As it is, it turns out that there are a lot of dancers who prefer Downtown Disney. They can invite friends who do not have ticket media to join them. And Downtown Disney has a great party vibe on the weekends. For dancers who like to show off, it beats that out-of-the-way corner off Disneyland's central plaza.

Yes, but for some little girls, getting to dress up like a princess for the day is the absolute highlight of their trip. My stepdaughter is a total girly girl, and when she was little dressing up like a princess and having sparkles in her hair was a very big deal to her. The cast members tend to make a big deal of it too, calling them by the name of the princess they are dressed up as, or at least just calling them princess. Taking time out of the day is not useless if it makes your daughter feel special and happy, and if you can afford it, why not?

Has anyone else noticed an upswing in strollers over the years?
