So, as I see it and I am sure Disney too, is that they have nothing to gain from announcing it now. And with BLT, AKLV and SS still available I am sure they want to sell as many of those that they can before they drop the announcement for GFVs. And what will they get as soon as make the announcement? Another 1000 post thread on a buch of fan sites proclaiming DVC/TDO to be the spawn af Satan. And when they do make the announcement I bet they make it through the DVC website with no big press release or Disney Parks Blog.

Originally Posted By Bolna <<There's a difference between denying your building something and not announcing what you're building.>> Exactly, and as dshyates pointed out, they still have BLT (supposed to be sold out very soon though), AKV and SSR on sale. And if you look at the DVC sales data it becomes apparent that they have quite a substantial problem with people defaulting since they are selling a lot of reaquired points (<a href="http://dvcnews.com/index.php/dvc-program/financial/1632-monthly-sales-data-for-june-2011" target="_blank">http://dvcnews.com/index.php/d...une-2011</a>). Oh and they are selling Aulani at the moment as well! As far as I know as soon as they announce a new property they are required to tell someone who is planning to buy into DVC and who asks that they are building the new property. So if there is anything fishy about it, it is that they want prospective buyers to buy into the "less desirable" properties AKV and SSR. Those had really low sales numbers for the last year or so and I think they really need to get those rooms sold. Having to tell people that if they would wait for a year or two that they then could buy into a GF DVC certainly would damage their numbers.
