Seems like a kind of strange quote to have slapped on the side of a wall that looks a lot like what you would see in the normal world. I also think it's a little interesting that they're so upfront about their mantra of trying to block out the outside world while actually in the park; it kind of defeats the concept of keeping out the outside world. Also interesting that they decided to capitalize "park", especially since Walt certainly wasn't talking about any of the parks in WDW... It's neat that there's still at least on CM in the park whose been there since 1971! Did the Destination D event say how many others there are around the resort? I would guess that it's more than just the one, but I doubt there are too many of them left these days.

I guess in this case the quote really does apply since the Magic Kingdom is about as far away from the "real world" as as can be. On another note it's very interesting to compare the construction techniques in Florida at MK compared to California at DCA. There seems to be a lot more metal reinforcement on some of the smaller structures in the FL expansion than what I've seen in Carsland and in Paradise Garden.

Ever seen the unbelievable structures holding the false fronts up at the back lot at DHS? It would almost be cheaper to build real buildings.

I do NOT like photoshopped images of Walt in other parks, however. Collage style is sort of OK, but Walt strolling through the MK, not at all. It would be like a picture of Walt shaking hands with Miley Cyrus...

I just hope they theme it well.
