That said, it's amazing how the SoCal locals scream in horror on the 8 or 10 days per year from December 'til March when a few tenths of an inch of rain fall in a day on Disneyland. If Anaheim got just one moderate Orlando-style rainy afternoon with 90+ temps and high humidity, I think both the CM's and the Guests would hide in terror. And to think the WDW Parks deal with that horrible Orlando climate for 8 or 9 months out of the year, and play host to tens of thousands of customers per day after day after day while they deal with it. Absolutely fascinating to think of the huge differences between Anaheim and Orlando.

My favorite rain-related moment of that trip was watching F!, after one of the few dry afternoons/evenings of the trip. About halfway through the show, it started to sprinkle, and then rain fairly hard. Everybody in the audience rustled around for about 3 seconds, found their ponchos, and put them on. And sat and watched the end of the show. I was shocked by how everybody was just used to it by that point, and had the "okay, it's raining, so what?" attitude about it. That's real Disney magic!
