They didn't do such a bad job removing the snowglobes and replacing them with a few prop changes. Now if only they would work on their correagraphy. They always have the simplest of moves and each set of characters almost seam like they get lost and make it up as they go along.

The music is more energetic, it actually has lyrics that can get caught in your head for the rest of the day, and the performers and their choereography seem to be more energetic. The loss of the globes for the addition of very nice arches are a big plus in my book. Sure, its basically the same parade. But nobody promised or advertised anything different. Even though I think after 5 years of these floats the MK (and the other parks too) deserve a completely brand new parade. they did a phenomenal job of revitalizing an aging parade and presenting it as something a bit different. I imagine most non-Disney fans might even think its a whole new parade since it does 'feel' quite different.

It has a dash of TDL in it now!!! But if you truly love these parades, check TDL's version with the same music.. (click on "new version" downloadable video) and find out why the music talks about a "...kingdoms of dreams and magic" ands they ain't talking about the MK you know..

This (as you mentioned) is SADCT-recycled. This is NOT the same parade that has been playing at TDL since 2003. Go to www.jtcent.com and see the video from TDL's version. The MK is only using the music that TDL got for their parade just a few months ago.. and the reason why the song refers to the "Kingdom of Dreams" is because the TDL parade is a cavalcade of acts from each land in the park. Unlike SADCT-remixed, which was a marketing push to see snowglobes at the parks. Reason why I feel the TDL music is grossly out of place here. But I am yet to see the parade and will do so today or tomorrow.

This kind of irks me in the same way it irks me when MK refers to itself as the Happiest Place on Earth -- a clear rip off of the Disneyland motto. MK needs to have a motto of its own.
