    Today Disney unveiled the new Rapunzel restroom area at the Magic Kingdom. While the only real function of the area right now seems to be restrooms, it is a large, attractive, heavily themed area that's a great addition to Fantasyland.

    Yeah, it's a little bit cray cray. But since I'm here I will say that that is a unusually elaborate set up for a set of theme park bathrooms, and sets a precedent even by Disney's standards. Does the industry give out awards for stuff like this? Can we assume that this bodes well for future MK projects?

    ORDDU: I must say that Disney Imagineers are to be enthusiastically applauded for what they have come up with, here. It may be only a restroom but the level of detail is incredible. Things like this give a witch hope for the future of the rest of this theme park.

Too bad it's all for restrooms, but hey, they are pretty nice, LOL! I just can't think of any other instance for other parks or venues where people get so excited over potties...

    Yes, everyone has been focused on the bathroom element of it, but what it has actually done is clear up a really badly congested area of the park. It also has freed up the restrooms next to Peter Pan, which, if rumours are to be believed, will become a new indoor queue for the attraction.
