ALL FP was out by 2.. The fireworks were pretty disappointing (IMO) nothing like MK or Epcot and while I could tell some enjoyed the live band in front of the hat I wasnt impressed (and hated that it made pictures really hard to frame) I was impressed how well they handled the parking lot (and noticed they to had shut down normal traffic patterns with parked cars..) All cars exiting Studios had to turn right out of the parking lot (vs right/left/straight) and then right again on Victory Way/Lane/Ave which worked great for me but I felt bad for any guests who then may have been lost to where they were... From fireworks to home was about 45 min (normal commute is around 25) so not bad at all..

Walked in did Spaceship Earth, we tried out that new Waste Management area in Innoventions(cute game esp if you have kids), found a spot for the fireworks between Mexico and Norway, first time seeing the Epcot New Years Eve and thought it was really cool. We hung out on a bench and waited for most the crowd to clear, got in line for test track right before closing, picked up a 40% off tshirt and went to our hotel room to crash. Fun night and the kids had a blast. Kudos to the Epcot Cast Members for doing a great job with crowd control(firm but with a smile) and especially the CM on Spaceship Earth who made sure everyone was smiling as they got on the ride. Glad we decided to avoid the MK cause I heard it was nuts there.

Anyway ... I'm real curious to see if the crowds die down immediately or stay up with the bowl games done except for the national title game.

It's not our fault that the PAC-10 isn't that great, but I think it's more than clear from our our-of-conference results that our conference really isn't all that relevant to our success. One of these days, we'll finally get a head-to-head match up and we can show the SEC how football is really played. Until then, we can just agree to disagree. : ) And thanks for that bobbelee. We don't call ourselves the Greatest Marching Band in the History of the Universe for nothing...though that might be a bit of an overstatement... : )
