    On the one hand it does seem to be an over the top display of consumerism run amuck. But once you're there, standing in the middle of New York Street and surrounded by lights and falling "snow" and music and computer programming to boggle the mind, it really is a cool display. I'd probably have a problem if they did that type of lighting all over DHS. But confined in this one area, it's awfully pretty.

    But yeah, I think this display is kind of like when your neighbors get into a battle for 'best' decorated home on teh cul de sac and you wind up with just massive tackyness.

    And knowing Disney, a decade from now you'll have the exact same display as the holiday entertainment at The Park Formerly Known as The Disney-MGM Studios.
