I searched for a copy of the Who Framed Roger Rabbit soundtrack for 5 years. I finally obtained a copy off ebay for about $40 (though I have seen it go higher).

Well, it is now being re-issued. (Think Genie's voice: "Available for only $11.89 through the LP store. Come on down.")

And so is the soundtrack to The Rescuers Down Under. This has been a very hard-to-find item, going for over $100 on ebay! Gee, at least I only paid about $25 for my CD-R copy.

Although I don't personally care for it, I know that Tron has been one of the hotly sought-after soundtracks from Disney. So when I was at the park in March and on Main Street saw that it had been re-issued, I suspected that WFRR was coming.

    TANJ!

Hooray! These great '70s songs from the Rescuers are finally on CD. I have listened to the last three bonus tracks over and over. Takes me back! They didn't give singer Shelby Flint any credit on the packaging for some reason, so I want to salute her here: Thank you Shelby Flint!!! I wish they had also included the "R-E-S-C-U-E Aid Society" song on the CD as well - and that cool '70s disco-sounding music when Evenrude is carrying the mice in his leaf boat. Maybe someday we'll get these tracks too. For the meantime, though, thank you Disney Records for releasing something that I personally love so much. Great job!!!
