WHAT a wonderful, WONDERFUL group of songs and other cuts they put together to represent the Bash! What a PERFECT gift it was! I've played my copy over AND OVER last year and this. It was SUCH a perfect disc... This year I borrowed freely from their playful and creative spirit -- and from their playlist -- and created "Bash Music 2006." Ordinarily, I'm very critical of things I create. But, not to seem immodest, I LOVE the CD I made! It's ALL about the Bash. In a loose, fun way. It contains holiday songs. Songs about Winter. Songs about Dreams. Songs about giving and getting. Tony Bennett. Chris Isaak. Instrumentals. It's influenced by the fact that I, Inspector 57, put it together. So there's some Donna Summer (you'll be surprised). Some Motown. Some Disney. Some surprises. A Romanian folk group. And somehow, it all comes together to represent the spirit and fun of the Bash. ANYHOW... as I said, I thought it turned out nice enough to share. If anyone would like a copy as a souvenir of LPWB2006, I'd be glad to send them one. And, again, as I said, the timing is perhaps unfortunate. It does contain holiday songs, so it's not a "year-round" CD. But if you get it early enough now, you could enjoy it through the 06/07 holidays. Or enjoy it next year as you ramp up for the LPWB2007. This is not an attempt to "sell" something. But I want to offer it. I can't afford to lose money on it. I can send a copy for $2 plus shipping. Shipping is US: $2 First Class, $4 Priority. International: well, who knows. Don't worry about it.
