BAH... Shove the celebrities and newscasters... I want to see the bands, dance-drill teams and floats!

One thing... They need to provide better microphones/sound system to support the bands. Aside from that... I enjoyed the bands and dancers a lot. :)

Me, for one... Not bad for almost-49. I could lose some weight, but my face and the rest of my skin is in pretty nice condition, if I do say so myself. ;-)

There are a lot of people in show business/music that look great. Madonna's my age and I'd kill to have that bod!

Hall and Oates are 58 and 60, respectively. And actually... From these shots three years ago, they look pretty good. Must have been the hair yesterday... Oates REALLY needs to do something with his. *LOL*

And was it just me, or did the parade really look like a Salute to Business? I found it so bizarre watching a balloon of the Energizer Bunny going by.

Because, you know, nothing captures the childlike joy and whimsy of the holidays like an enormous ad for batteries.

I turned it off after the second screeching production number. That's when the conversation started. I guess I am officially an old fogey :)
