    Other than that... not much else but some new shows around the park. But nothing that pertains exactly to WDW's 35th. It's a pity. back in 2001, they also forgot to celebrate the 30th anniversary, but at least we got a tee shirt with a generic 30th logo on it. Hopefully they will do the same this time around.

    Yeah,we got the nametags and buttons and I knew about that. They don't tell us resort lifeguards much about happenings at MK though and I was kind of hoping for at least a small ceremony of some kind but I guess not. Oh well. Happy belated B-Day MK! (and all of WDW for that matter).

    Sadly, that doesn't cut for me. Do a real celebration like they used to do.

    My first ever trip to WDW was during the 15th anniversary - they had a huge Mickey clock out in front and every time you walked through the turnstyles you had a chance to win something. I think they were even giving away cars it I remember correctly. I also remember the commercial:

    It's Disney's birthday party
    and we want you to come
    15 years of celebration
    all rolled into one!
