-I don't like ad's, but the value out-weighs the distraction so far IMO. =)

    Tear it down!

And I am THRILLED to hear about the new soundtrack going into Paradise Pier. Synthesized calliope Beach Boy music begone! Bring on ragtime!!!

This area is in the center of a two-level helix, surrounded on 360 degrees by double looping roller coaster track. That doesn't sound too serene and tranquil to me.

Still, it's a rather small area and there's not much they could put there, so a couple of trees and benches sounds like the easiest option.

I don't get all of the eltists on here that complain that Disney is too good for carnival rides! What was Disneyland when it first opened? Carnival rides! What's wrong with a little hokey entertainment every now and then? Should Disney tear down all of the carousels? Those are carnival rides.

I second that, especially within the context of PP. None of the stuff in PP really bothered me much except the execution of the carousel and the queue for Screamin. Those areas always seemed to drop a bit too far below the bar in my opinion, but overall I like the area.
