Tokyo especially is well accustomed to receiving foreign visitors, and Japan has a very good tourist organisation. As for the TDResort itself, it is really no different than any other Disney resort, and even though you may occasionally have some difficulty communicating with CM's, you'll never feel lost or confused.

I think I saw every painful detail of the transpo system --oh, wait, I think he missed a few shots of the drain pipes, column flanges, and emergency stairways. Interesting article, though. I still think you should practice editing! I know, I'm obnoxious! ;-}

I present it as kind of a storyboard of the experience, so I can see how someone who wants just the pictures could get impatient. But personally, just looking at pictures is boring to me. I want context, and again, my email tells me I'm not alone. And when put in perspective, this little lead-in is just that. There are over 500 pictures in this tour... the great majority of them of MiraCosta. By the way, I LOVE the T in TDL. TK, as someone who's "interested in motion picture & entertainment industry, its spin-offs, & its impact on popular culture" I'm surprised you find no interest in the *seemingly* uninteresting more mundane aspects of the parks. A picture of a drain often speaks 1000 words about the people who built and use it.

Please also let me say that as I rode the Resort Liner from the main station around to TDS, my mind was taken back to the incredible tableau of images you shared with us here and on your site. Through your work, I was able to see and experience the vast majority of TDS being built. As we rounded the back of the park and Indy's temple came into view on that wet and cold Wednesday morning in October my heart leapt and something caught in my throat. As Stormrider then Mt. Prom. and finally the Columbia came into view I was giggling like a child and openly "WOW"ing, thinking how I had seen ALL of this as skeletal frameworks and then realized buildings on your site. To see them as REAL attractions and show buildings was one of those experiences I will not forget in a VERY long time. Thank you for that sir. Brad

Yeah, I sort of the thought the hotel would actually be in there somewhere too (and even by page 12, I was getting a little disappointed because I thought I was going to see more pictures of monorails then the hotel itself). Of course, that's BEFORE I truly realized what you were doing, whetting our appitete for the main course. Also, as someone who has been there a few times, it sort of bought me back as I was going there for the first time and I could even recall my own anticipation as I took the JR line litterally counting down each stop, and could faintly see the castle and space mountain in the horizon. Also, to be able to ride that "pig" of a monorail and realize how much more advanced, efficient and S-P-A-C-I-O-U-S it was compared to the state parks made me appreciate it more. Any other words: I liked it. I am looking forward to actually "seeing" it in the next article . Last thing, taking the "T" out of TDL would be a HUGE mistake in my opinion. That park is an amazing park BECAUSE of Tokyo. Trust me, Tokyo is an AMAZING city, one of the most amazing in the world in my opinion, with or without a theme park in it......as is Paris. Been to both, and the one thing that also makes the difference (and people have mentioned this a few times) are the PEOPLE that are in these places and the treatment and "respect" you get in Paris (and that includes DL) has NOTHING on the Tokyo crowd.....trust me. I know this was completely off topic, but trust me when I say Tokyo is just as "awe-inspiring" when you take your first trip down the center of Ginza and see the sparkling eye-catching neon and amazing shopping malls and shops everywhere and the hordes of people with their colorful and unique hairstyles and clothing walking past you at the speed of light. Its truly "a whole new world" there .
