A stellar cast and some good writing.

Alexis is very photogenic, and I've caught a little Gilmore Girls on TV.

I would suggest watching it yourself first, because it does bring up some moral questions that you may want to be prepared for.

I think you would really enjoy it, MouseBear, maybe even be able to use it in your class.

I saw it on video so I could actually focus on the movie and I loved every last bit of it.The only thing is I wish they tweaked the ending slightly to be more like the book. I found those last lines in the book to be very moving and emotional.

My 8 year old son is the original "short attention span theater" poster child, but he really got hooked into the story and stayed with it.

Just such a top-notch cast and beautiful photography -- unbelievable that this film was overlooked at Oscar time.

(On a side note, the POTC movie teaser on the DVD makes the movie look really promising. Starting to really look forward to Pirates now!)

If Holes is of this quality, then that should be an excellent movie, too!
