    Any news to that?

Over time, they have been replacing the wooden supports with metal ones and replacing pieces of track to try to keep it fairly smooth. It is also just general upkeep that needs to be done on an attraction that is so old and has so many different things that could have small issues that lead to huge ones.

Construction photos clearly show that Matterhorn Mountain is made up up of a steel structure. There may be some wood involved, but I rather doubt any wood was used for structural support.

I can't believe you Disney die-hards can't get anything right.

They're adding Johnny Depp as Sherpa Jack Sparrow to the ride, and adding a hitchhiking Yeti and Bigfoot at the end with Harold. :)
