Another empty time I used to love was to go to DL right after Labor Day.... the parks were still open late, but nearly everybody was back at work.... and by 9pm most of the park was empty. Unfortunately they would close off critter country...but that was before splash Mtn. But the area of the river was SO pretty at night with nobody about. Yah, If I lived in Ca I would have to have a Pass and wet gear...and a job I could duck out of!! Thaks for sharing the memory!

He still says it was one of the best times he ever had at the park. I love Disneyland in the rain almost more than in the sun. Thank you for the lovely article!

My folks bought us all hooded sweatshirts (back when you didn't have to take out a loan to buy them, LOL) and we rode the rides as many times as we wanted to all day. It was truly a magical day.
