As far as movies being made using themes of the Haunted Mansion and Pirates, I am also, "Doobie"-ous about that working; we'll just see what happens with the Country Bears. It was very cool you brought up the passing of Jerry Dunphy, yes, we'll miss him! Excellent column!

There weren't a lot of attractions like it yet, and the content (the Star Wars properties) was unmatched. The lines were routinely 90 minutes, and would take up that whole area of Tomorrowland.

As for the movies - I think Pirates could be an awesome movie if it is done right. It should be a grand epic with some sly winks to the attraction and the legends who built it, with lots of action and the right amount of humor. It should be more action & drama than comedy, though, for sure.

I'm a motorcyclist and don't get motion sick easily, but after that ride I was so "woozie" I didn't go on anything else for several hours.

For the soft opening, it was a calmer ride and I could concentrate on the visuals. Never got woozie again and also didn't ride it often because of the loooong lines.

Thanks again for your wonderful work Ken.

I can't believe Ken keeps making that mistake. I've told him over and over again that the "T" stands for Thibideaux.
