    May I quickly add here that I forgot to send a photo credit to my friend Syeve Solovitz, who was at the Convention all the way from Minnesota. He supplied a couple of the photos. I will see that he is properly credited for Part 2 that follows...

    Doug -- How did you get such good copies of the presentation slides that you included in your report? Were those simply photographed well from the display? Or do you have "connections?"

    I am so flattered you like the images. With the exception of a single image in Part 2, every one of the illustrations were found somewhere within my own library. One reason I took so long getting this report in was my obsessive desire to come up with adequate illustrations. It was actually eerie to me when I would find the exact image used in a seminar (for example, the early concept for Cruella's car).

    The bowling bag piece was a set of Mickey Mouse Club ears. The cap portion of the ears was traditional black, but the ears were done up in a glittery gold color. Really a very nice piece. And good for signing.

It was an honor to moderate the session with Fess, who remains one of my favorite Disney stars. Also, the best of success to all at Laughing Place for maintaining a great Disney site.
