Also, I wanted to take my three year old to a character meal, which one would you recommend? She loves Minnie and any Princess are there any along those lines? We've never done a character meal, is it even worth the price?

Maybe Disney Dining can tell you what characters to expect when you call for priority seating (almost a must unless you're eating at a very odd time). Ariel's Grotto's food might be a little better quality but the choices are more limited. They have nothing but princesses there but there are a lot of them. Again, be sure to make priority seatings because even with them you often have a wait. I've never been to the breakfast at Plaza Inn so someone else will have to write about that. Oh yes, Breakfast with Lilo and Stitch (at Paradise Pier Hotel) has Minnie Mouse. And they have a lot of fun games. However, I like the food there the least. Storytellers Cafe has probably what is considered the best character meal food (but I don't necessarily agree) and their characters are more of the natural variety rather than fantasy.
