    And also he had his debate to contend with, so it was a little understandable, but this week its Palin turn, so he doesnt have to be around for that. He has hundreds of people involved in his campaign including campaign manager, spokespeople, strategist etc. Why cant they just continue without him for a few days? This really makes no sense and he would be an idiot to do it again after the reviews he got last week.

    Which is excellent, except it isn't November 3rd. They'll close back up. Unfortunately.

    I had a *bad* week after the Republican convention and McCain's numbers bounced. I realized I might just be a little too invested in this whole thing. I pondered stepping away from following it all for a while. So I refuse to get my hopes up again.

    I have a feeling they'll open up even further. It could quite possibly be a lopsided race come November barring. There aren't many days left to change the momentum.
