And I about fell out of my chair when I saw the QVC model. Great stuff.

McCain was funny though. Too bad we probably will see less of that side after a few days from now ;).

The skit was funny but McCain creeps me the hell out. Part of it is just based on his appearance and his physicality but I am so disgusted with him and his campaign that he literally grosses me out.

I'm not so sure about that. Aside from the fact that he still may somehow win the election, I think he'll be relieved he doesn't have to play this ridiculous game anymore. In a lot of ways he's a complex guy: he has a good sense of humor but also has some anger problems; he's loyal to the team but he's a maverick who hates being told what to do. I have always liked McCain and will be happy to get *him* back. I haven't been too thrilled by the things I've seen *candidate* McCain do and I think he'll be glad it's all over too. I think that's part of the playfulness we saw last night.

But sure, whoever wins we will see more of, but not like this thankfully.

Sometimes the curtain would open to reveal stunning new kitchen appliances by Admiral, or a deluxe color cabinet TV set by Quasar. Other times, the curtain would open to reveal a terrible prize like a beat up tractor or something.

Rumor is, this was the model for the vetting process that gave the McCain ticket Sarah Palin.

What was great was that she'd use the same "isn't this elegant?" hand gesture, sort of sweeping across the product, whether the prize was the fabulous home organ console by Kimball or 50 cans of Hormel chili.
