Guess I'll have to wait for another time.

I checked some alternate dates and found if I flew out Sunday instead of Monday my fare would drop to $406. More than I'd like to pay, but much better than $777. Although since it would mean an extra day of hotel and meals and DL tickets (I couldn't be there and not go) it would end up costing me about the same. I suffer from the NWA monopoly. There are only two carriers that fly non-stop from MSP to LAX – Northwest and Sun Country. Sun Country has good fares, but you are flying red-eyes each way. Since I don’t think much of takeoffs and landings, I won’t take anything other than non-stop. I figure it cuts my chance of dieing in half.
