Between my Mom, myself, and two four years olds....it was VERY hard to carry it all, and keep track of it! We arrived in San Francisco around 12:15pm, and had a quick lunch and potty break. Got back on the plane at 1:15, and arrived in SNA about 2:40pm. We hopped on the Super Shuttle right away, and were at "The Park Inn Anaheim" within 15 minutes. I was getting the kids together, and my mom was trying to find all of the luggage. We checked in, and thats when I realized that my backpack was missing! It had my digital camera, and video camera inside of it(and all of Isabelle's creams and bandages for her knee that we had just gotten the stitches taken out of!). I called Super Shuttle right away to report it. Well.....we had a nice room on the third floor, and it was about 3:45pm so I took the kids swimming. They LOVED the roof pool, even though it wasn't heated. I enjoyed the hot tub, we had the whole pool area to ourselves, and it was very nice. We got out around 4:45, and got ready for our dinner reservations at the Rain Forest. We were seated right away by the Mama Elephant! The kids were in shock by how cool the whole place was, and they ate every last bite of thier dinner! Back at the hotel, my backpack had been returned with all my stuff still inside! WOOHOO! We got the kids to bed that night around 9pm. My mom went to bed with a headache. The next morning her head was worse, and she felt sick to her stomach. We were sad that she would miss the breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen, but I had to take the girls, and told mom that I would call her after breakfast. We were seated right away, and Hayley and Isabelle loved the Mad Hatter, and Goofy. Thier favorite food item was Peanutbutter and jelly pizza. I called mom when we were done, and she said that she felt much better, and would meet us at the front gates!....................I will continue the rest of our trip story later today! - Jenn

I was SO relieved to read this part! Sorry your mom got down but sounds like she ended up being a trooper...Can't wait to hear more. Two 4 year olds - how fun (and exhausting.)
Originally Posted By DisneyDays PART TWO: We met Mom at the Disneyland gates, and went inside....it almost made me cry to see the girls so amazed and happy. We walked down Main Street right into the castle. It only took 55 minutes to get through ALL of the Fantasy Land rides! The favorite for both girls was "Peter Pan's Flight". We then did "Pirates" and "Haunted". Since thier was no line for "Splash" we did it twice! Then walked right onto "Pooh". We did the "Jungle Cruise", and then I could tell that the girls were running out of energy. We hopped aboard the "Disneyland Railroad", and the girls fell right to sleep on it, so we rode it around 3 times(about 50 minutes). We then woke them up and headed over to Cali Adventure for a late lunch. We first went to "Tough to be a Bug", and they laughed through the whole thing! Then we did all rides in Bugs Land. We headed to "Tower", and did it twice in a row! Then off to "Soarin", and it ended up being the girls favorite in California Adventure. We then headed back to Disneyland and did all rides in Tomorrow Land. "Space Mountain" ended up being the favorite ride of the whole trip! The park had closed by the end of "Space", so we headed back to the hotel and had a late McDonalds dinner then crashed. The following days were pretty much the same (we squeezed in EVERYTHING! Tiki room, Sun wheel, Aladdin Show, Parades, and fireworks!) I LOVED the fireworks. The girls loved Tinkerbell, and all of the music that went with it. The girls walked from 9am to 12:30am on Friday with only a short nap on the train! They were my happy little troopers! I let them buy a Princess outfit to wear home on the airplane(Isabelle chose Belle and Hayley chose Jasmine), they also wore home Princess shoes, purses, wands, gloves, and Golden Mickey ears with a red Minnie bow! The pilot announced them on the plane over the loud speaker "ladies and gentlemen, we have royalty joining us on the plane, Princess Belle and Princess Jasmine" everyone clapped for them! It was so cute! I was so proud to take them on this trip. I have been Nanny to both of them from 6 weeks old. 5 days a week, 10 hours a day for four and a half years! Disneyland was our last week together, and the night we returned I got two little phone calls that broke my heart! Hayley called me crying, she said,"I miss my Disneyland bed, and I want you!" It was hard for me to not cry as I reassured her. Isabelle called next and said,"I want to live in Disneyland with you forever!" She was in a hysterical cry. My poor babies! I have picked them up from school a couple times this week, but it just feels so different for us all. They were so good in Disneyland though! I didnt get them a stroller or carry them at all, and they never complained about it! They know what I expect from them....respect,no whineing/complaining, and kindness to others. They know that I know that they are WAY stronger and have way more endurance then people think! We saw many four and five year olds in strollers, and Hayley and Izzy looked very confused by it. I am very proud of them, and hope that they will remember this wonderful experience for the rest of thier lives! I will miss them and love them much! - Jenn
