"Even if you put aside the Mexican military, you have illegals in the country...they're protected with tactical gear using tactical strategies in police uniforms willing to ambush police officers. I think that's bad enough," said Mark Spencer, President of the Phoenix Police Enforcement Association. While on the J.D. Hayworth show Tuesday, Mark Spencer announced that the suspects were hired by drug cartels to perform home invasions and murders. The incident at 8329 W. Cypress St. resulted in the death of the homeowner. Between 50 and 100 rounds were fired at the house. Spencer said a police officer told him that one of the men captured said they were completely prepared to ambush Phoenix police, but ran out of ammunition. He added that all were all dressed in military tactical gear and were armed with AR-15 assault rifles. Three other men involved in the invasion escaped.<< Something is SERIOUSLY wrong here, and I think we need to bring out the US military and the National Guard to protect our borders and prevent these "goons" (aka Drug Cartels) from entering our country illegally!!!

One has to wonder just how many needless lives have to be taken by these Liberal social experiments.

If that's your idea of a credible news source, then perhaps this explains a lot of things. <<< Looks like there was another shooting. >>> That is disappointing and scary to read about. <<< Looks like there is a lot more to this story than meets the eye. Apparently one Police Officer was killed last year by an illegal and the Mayor and Chief of Police have policies in place that forbid Police Officers from not only asking suspects if they are US citizens or not but also forbid Police Officers from contacting ICE. >>> Okay, now we're getting to the bottom of the whole matter. This explains why the president of the police officer's union is going on the noise machine to spread false information about the situation (granted, he may not have known it was false at the time, but this is exactly why there are official channels to vet information before it's released to the public). The union is no doubt upset about the citizenship issues discussed above, and this provided the perfect opportunity to get the public rallied on their side. Unfortunately, it kind of backfired. It also partially but not fully explains the odd thing I've noticed about this story: I've looked at every news source I can find, but nowhere are the suspects identified as illegal aliens. They have Hispanic names, and are identified as citizens of Mexico, but nowhere does it say what their immigration status is. If the supposed main point of this story is about illegal immigration, then the suspects' immigration status would seem an important, if not the key, aspect to the story, no? When reading the above quote, I thought "Oh, this explains it!" If the City of Phoenix has a policy against collecting the information, then this would explain why it has not been reported on. But even that does not explain how their nationality is known.
