Originally Posted By Dabob2 <I tend to think it was more your video Michele (one L) that did her in.> Yeah! That was it!! Seriously, my guess is that she sees the writing on the wall - even if the FBI can't prove any illegality, she was quite likely to lose to a guy who very nearly beat her last time, and would get tons of funding from liberal groups now that they'd know he had a chance. Plus he now has the name recognition he lacked last time, which is always important. Thus she figured she'd lose. Her statmement: "My decision was not in any way influenced by any concerns about my being re-elected to Congress,” she said. “If I ran I would again defeat the individual who I defeated last year.” is the very definition of protesting too much. I've never heard anyone else announcing they were stepping down make a point to say "If I ran again, I'd totally win." And once you lose, you get that loser's stank on you. But retiring undefeated, she's probably hoping for a cushy (and lucrative) Fox job she can hold for years, and retain her influence in the conservative bubble - which a loser probably couldn't do, or at least not as easily. <I wonder if they'll now release Marcus from whatever isolation chamber they've had him locked up in since summer of 2012?> Yes. Hopefully he can come out now. Pun intended.

Jobs? Freedom? Terrorism? America? Nope...it was ACORN. http://www.politifact.com/trut...itifact/ Next fun fact: Bachmann, so far as I can tell, has the worst Politifact rating of anyone. Her inability to tell the truth should really astound anyone, no matter how cynical one might be about politics.
