Just trying to decide if we should try to find something else to do. I thought about going swimming but thinking it will probably be too cold. Also we will have my grandson with us, who will be 15 months old. I went to the halloween party at DL and loved the fact that it wasn't crowded at all. If we went to the Cristmas party it would have to be on a Friday night, so don't know how crowded that would be.

I didn't care for their hot chocolate much. I wish I could be of more help!

The hot chocolate/juice n cookies are passable and if its like last year most of the parties didn't sell out so the crowds were low. -em

And if I'm not mistaken you can get in earlier than the assigned time with your MVMCP tickets. Just a thought! We've been many times & I'ld say as -em did if you haven't been it would be nice due to all the stuff you won't see(but should) during regular park hours till much closer to Christmas. We've just seen so much of the extras taken away that we just don't go often anymore. We are staying away from MK the end of that wk because of the taping. We go every yr the first few wks in Dec. This time it's the 1st wk. Have a great time!

How early would you have to get there? Is it super crazy?

I understand that the taping of the actual parade is long & repeative as they reshot whenever they need to. There is special filming equipment set up & getting around MS was an issue. It may be better organized now as I said it has been yrs. You might check, some of these special tapings have required getting tickets(free)& or standing in line to participate. I imagine there are folks on here that have more current info & I would check on http://allears.net/index.html they tend to have great info.
