    (3) Costume guidelines don't mention anything specifically about a costume that resembles a now-out-of-use Cast Member Costume. I am considering attending in a replica CM Costume that was in use from approx. 1967-1999, but has not been used in the park since then. Can anyone intelligently surmise whether that would raise eyebrows? The costume is likely to be recognized by some people as being a former Disneyland CM Costume.

I don't remember anything about single rider queues

You should be fine with a CM-inspired costume, particularly if it has that certain homemade look. The TOT bellhops are a pretty popular costume choice in WDW, and nobody ever seems to have any issues with that, even though its a current costume

It wasn't last year when we went.

Oh, and by all means avoid DCA if you happen to be there another evening while DL is hosting the party.

One last one: I recall people posting in the past that the best time for candy is late in the party, when interest has flagged. That you can practically get as much as you want at that point. Does that sound right to anyone? Does candy distribution run the whole time, or just until a certain time?

The other advantage to waiting until the end of the party is that you don't have to carry around a bag of candy with you the whole time. Like buying a big bag of souvenirs early in the day, it just kind of gets annoying after a while!

They also used to have a couple stations that gave out Ghirardelli squares, but I think they discontinued that a few years ago (though it may have been reinstated when they built the ice cream parlor in DCA)

We both wore our ThinkGeek Star Trek uniform T-shirts next day just to get a picture in them, and we agreed that in hindsight, the simple t-shirts would have been a more practical and entirely adequate costume.

Funny how back home we pray for no rain and weather warm enough to not have to wear a huge winter coat over your costume. In DL it's like wearing a hot costume in the middle of summer.

Really. There were tons of people in full costume the night I went. Including me in full home made Coronation Anna costume.

We are doing it on the Friday before Halloween, so hopefully there are few people in costume.
