I don't want to waste precious early morning time (best time for major rides) in there unless it's really worth it. Thank you very much for your advice. I have been planning this trip for months, and once I found this discussion board I have never needed to look anywhere else for tips to plan our trip! I have learned SO much from reading all these posts, and I sure appreciate it. I know our trip will go much smoother because of you all!

We took a trip with a three-year-old and five-year-old two years ago, and even they were bored quickly with Toontown. If I was you, I'd go ahead and go with the early admittance and do that section of the park if the rest of the resort is closed. At least your daughters can do that section and get it done quickly and be ready to take on the rest of the park when it opens. ToonTown is small and I assume can be done very quickly early in the morning. Just make sure you have your plan for how to get out of there to big-ticket rides at the regular opening, if that's how it works. However, if there's a possibility they could be doing other parts of Disneyland at that time or are going to miss out on early prime time for the rest of the resort, I'd definitely skip it. I can't think of one reason I'd like to be in ToonTown while everyone else is getting quickly onto great rides like Space Mountain or Indiana Jones. The only good thing I can imagine about getting early admittance into that section of the park is that you could get your photos with Mickey and Minnie, which is kind of a classic for all ages. Not worth missing Space Mountain during a short line, in my opinion, but on a first trip to Disneyland I can imagine it might be cool to see Mickey Mouse first thing...
Just my opinion; I hope it helps! Enjoy the trip!

It's worth a quick lookaround for everyone other than young children, and Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin is a fun ride for all ages, but I wouldn't waste valuable early morning time on it if I were you. I'd place it low on your list of things to do after you've done everyone's biggies.

As far as I can tell, our "early admission tickets" don't really get us in the main part of the park early, just Toontown because it opens an hour after the other "lands". My problem is that everyone says that the best plan is to try to see the big attractions first thing in the morning, and the early Toontown entry would be at that very same time. Sorry if this sounds confusing, I'm trying to get it straight in my head.
Thanks again, I am happy to get your advice!
