My youngest was sad about that. But happy she got to see Miley in the parade, see the mini concert and take pictures with stars of Wizards or Waverly Place, Kobe Bryant and others. But overall she had a great time. The Greatest surprise was the free tickets for the Miley Cyrus concert taping in Irvine this coming Friday. My daughters are really excited about it. So overall I would say that it was a great deal for the price that was paid. Did you go? Your thoughts? P.S. Did you know that Billy Ray Cyrus' Achy Breaky Heart that he performed at the party is a crossover mexican hit? Some other artist does it in spanish and it has been played at every Quinceañera, wedding or celebration I have ever been too. And they do the dance too! My wife did not know that so when I told her it was his song she was surprised to know that. She had only ever heard it in Spanish. Just Sharing

At the summer camp I've worked at, we always have a lot of international counselors, including 4 from Mexico this past year. During the 'western' dance (each week had a different theme), they played a lot of country music and it was generally hard to dance to, but as soon as Achy Breaky Heart came on, the four of them started the line dance, and everybody quickly joined in. It was really funny because we have line dances for about a dozen different songs, but nobody had ever seen that one, but they all knew it. Interesting that it's a lot bigger than just the 4 of them knowing it...

There was no way with all that she had to do (purple carpet, concert, birthday cake blowout) that Miley would have been able to get to the smaller side stuff. The 5 hours flew by. I didn;t see any parents getting into it. Overall everyone seemed in good spirits. My daughter absolutely loved it (especially standing about ten feet behind the Camp Rock cast during the concert). And the tickets for the video taping this Friday? Yeah.....very cool. Kobe was in the crowd with his little girl....and seemed to enjoy the Achy Breaky. And he was real cool taking pictures with everyone.
