Military Park Hopper

    I saw somewhere online that you needed a militay ID to use the ticket, but other sites contradict that saying that you don't need one.

    I called DL and they said that you *do* need an ID and that I'd have to pay the difference to get a regular ticket.

    I'm supposed to arrive Thursday and the friend who got it for me is not arriving till Friday afternoon/evening. He does NOT have an ID either, it's his Dad who'd in the military.

    What are we going to do?????

    Also, as a child of military, doens't your friend have a military ID? Or are they "too old" to be a dependent?

    Oh my, you are in a tight fix. I have a friend who got tickets from someone in the military and she got in with no problems. I'd say, go to a busy line where they would more likely be in a hurry and not have time to check ID. Good luck!

Personally, I don't see a problem with a military member buying a ticket for their child and their child's friend, we have purchased tickets from MWR for friends and relatives who were visiting DL with us.

I called DL tickets first and they reassured me that they don't check for ID. ID is only needed to purchase the tickets. Once you have the tickets no ID is needed. This proved to be true.

    That was quite a few years ago, but it doesn't sound like they've changed their policy.
