I believe that the ability to generate a lasting and meaningful memory of each attraction, is in one or two "little things" that we experience while riding. Or maybe things that only you have noted or felt during a particular ride. Stuff like the downhill movement sensation created in "If you had Wings", the embedded wedding ring in the cement at the Haunted Mansion exit, or the echo in Steven Tyler's shout from the street in Rock'n Roller Coaster's Preshow. My favorite is looking up at the "sky" during the pirate ship sequence of POTC. I think that the cloud/smoke effect moving over the scene is incredible. To this day, when I walk outside at night and see clouds underlit with a dark sky beyond, I immediately think of Pirates of the Carribean.
I know, that with many of you having such a vast knowledge of the Parks and the opportunity for numerous visits, you too have similar experiences to share. Just thought that it would be interesting.
    There... that wasn't too hard!

And Carousel of Progress ~ my Dad who is no longer living on this earth loved this more than anything and my son has continued the adoration for this wonderful Walt Disney classic. The music, there have been 2 theme songs, bring about so much personal emotion, good emotion for me. I love it.

    ooo ~ there will be more . . .

I have smell memories from Peter Pan, PotC, ToT, Caroussel of Progress, Splash Mountain (although Splash is a bad smell it's like sweat mixed with water mixed with moldy rubber boat interiors) and many more.

Oh, I couldn't agree more! This was my dad's favorite ride (and his favorite Disney film; he always said he was going to be like Peter Pan & never grow up, and he didn't :)), and I just adore it. I don't care how long the line is, I'll wait for this one. I just get chills when the ship lifts off and Peter shouts, "Come on, everyone! Here we go!" Just a masterpiece.

I agree with so many of the ones listed. I'll have to think about this and come up with mine.

I still feel that way when I pass that globe and the lights.

And in the Peter Pan ride, I just love the effect of flying over the city. The little lights that look like headlights to cars is amazing.

I could fill an entire server with WDW memories... Just a walk down Main Street is one, then there's the hyper-intricate details in the stores that surround the Tree of Life, the reflection of the country pavilions in the World Showcase Lagoon, the I-always-get-lost layout of MGM...

Did ya ever see a December sunset over the Grand Floridian or Epcot's France?
    Unlike any other.

Then there's the rush of heat from Illumination's fire, the growl of a WDW transit bus, "por favor mantenganse..." on the monorail, the torches along the Polynesian's walkways, parents trying to fold strollers to get on the parking lot trams, the explosively happy energy of the Jammin parade...
    I'll be back with more!

Just thinking about it makes my stomach tighten and the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end.

Another of mine is the queue & preshow area of MuppetVision 3D. There are so many treasures in there. I could spend forever in there trying to figure out all of them. I also love to watch Statler & Waldorf during the show. Even when they don't talk, they're responding to the film, just like the real audience. They're a magnificent piece of work (and they continually crack me up!).

But, I guess having to make a new President each time we get a new one helps to some extent to ensure refurbs for this old beauty...

    I think "he's" a "she".

Anyway, one of my favorite scenes is to see people line up for the monorail at night at the end of the day at MK. The fireworks have not happened yet, so it's not yet packed-to-the-bone. Everyone looks down the beamway looking for the next monorail to arrive. There, you'll see young babies and toddlers slung over their daddy's shoulders like sacks of potatos - sound asleep.

I wonder what they're dreaming about.
