Missing Splash Mt in last of April and May

I spent over $800 chasing Splash Mt. I am bringing over 19 people to Disney for my Big Birthday in April and change the airfare for this ride alone. We decided to come again the end of Oct or begining of Nov. Is Halloween busy in the park? It would be nice to get the park to put the refurbishmnet on rides up earlier so people with big crowds can get their plans down.This trip is big bucks even though we are going cheap as possible.

Tigger, we have gone the past 2 years in October and have LOVED IT! We have had a rainy day each year. Not enough to really close rides, but enough to scare off the wimps! We were able to ride several of the rides with zero wait. Make sure you bring a sweatshirt or jacket. We are headed to DL in March for out first spring adventure and my husband almost rescheduled when he heard Splash Mountain was closed. Good Luck with your trip!
