You can expect to see testing of the full new version to be in place by mid Sept-Oct 1st for the 35th Anniversary... Yeah right now its about to begin a busy season of rehearsals for this parade, Halloween, Xmas & the *NEW* Pirates & Princesses starting in Jan...

I would also like to see one that is continuosly moving, not stopping four or five times in route to interact with the guests. I think it would be cool, since I'm from La. if they would throw some thing off the float into the crowd...like spongey Mickey footballs...oh well, I'm just ready to see something new.

Yes, these are the same floats, basically, but WDW could have done nothing and kept this parade going like they did with the "Remember the Magic" parade.

Originally Posted By gurgitoy2 I'm not really giving them a pass either, however, I would rather them change the parade than keep running it into the ground for the next few years. It's certainly nothing I would be excited to see and plan a trip to WDW for. No, I would rather go because there are new attractions I have not seen yet. I'm making a Christmas trip, and the parade is not a big incentive!
