HalloWishes went on at 9:15pm and was fab, especially with the perimeter fireworks (but no flying witch as in previous years). The parade this year is also nice, with new "Boo to You" theme song and much better choreography as opposed to the stale daytime parade. Clarabelle Cow steals the parade up on the country portion of the parade. Even one of SpectroMagic revolving light spheres makes an appearance here. The Haunted Mansion portion was a highlight.
Out in the castle forecourt, a villians meet and greet with a little dance show was silly in a fun way. Big bad wolf posing and "DJ BB Wolf" was *bad*! :)

Candy stations galore and family photos were taken at some locations as well. This year's merchandise and party pins are nice.

The overall feel of the party was hip. Lots of music that was more festive and peppy than in previous years... Among some of the music featured over the pa system were tunes from TDL and DLP's halloween events... a nice touch.

All in all, it was a most enjoyable evening.

They should limit their costumes to Disney related, like TDL does on a daily basis.

Any one can treat or trick. Adults included. Just do the lines for candy and you won't be turned around.

Is there any point to it for the adults? I mean, do you get any super groovy candies or something? lol

The parade is really awesome. my friend and i were going to watch the first parade to take pics and then the second one to tape it. but they canceled the first one due to rain and had a little parade with characters in cars and a few dancing around to music that played singing in the rain and when will the rain end, or something along those lines. So we saw teh second showing and taped it. the fireworks were really awesome. Wish disneyland would do a halloween beleive. they could even borrow some of the music that WDW used for their hallowishes. Although i would have preffered to hear the original music that some of the villians sang instead of popish sounding remixes. but it was still good. All in all it was a good night. didnt do as much trick or treating as i would have liked to, but then again, i really dont need candy. I havent really touched the candy i got a couple nights ago. Oh, and i saw the villians mingle and meet infront of the castle, they do this sort of rap type song and then come down to take pictures and autographs, and they had their own lines that was really nice. I only stook around to take pics with malificient because i normally see every other villian but her in the park taking pictures regularly.
