Music Band Stops Traffic On Freeway To Play Song

    A Band called the Imperial Stars stopped traffic on the Hollywood Freeway this morning to raise awareness about homeless children. They parked their bus (looks a lot like the Partridge Family bus) across three lanes of traffic around 10:30 a.m., got on top of the bus, and played a song called Traffic Jam 101. The Hollywood Freeway is known as the 101. LAPD responded and arrested all involved.

    Only here in L.A. would this happen.

    And that dark van/truck with pictures of its band members on the side looks nothing like the Partridge hippy bus. That Partridge Family bus was covered with white, blue, yellow and red straight lines and 90 degree angles?
