So I woke at 2am and saw he wasn’t in, so I text him, and he had just set off walking back (alone). He hadn’t had much to drink.

Then about 2.40am, he rang me to say 3 men had come to him to ask for a cigarette, he told them he didn’t smoke, so they punched him in the face. He knew that against three he had no chance, so he ran and knocked on a door, he saw the people wake and come to the window, they didn’t open the door though. (Not a surprise) Then the men appeared again and they were shouting at each other.
The elderly couple then opened the door and let him in. They offered him a cup of tea, and helped him clean himself up. His t shirt and jeans have lots of blood on. He rang for the police and an ambulance. They took him to hospital.

He had steri strips under his eye on the cut. It looks as if he has had an upwards blow on the cheek. His left cheek is very swollen and that eye completely closed. He aches a lot. But never felt concussed etc.

This morning his eye is purple, and closed. The swelling has gone down a little on his cheek. His nose has bled and his teeth feel rattled he said.

Kieran(age 11) cried when he saw him. Connor(age 5) ran off saying

    â€yuck that’s too grossâ€

Ive told them that the police will have caught them by now....mmmmm. I dont want them thinking people like that are about.

It does go to show that smoking isn't always hazardous to your health though!

Tell him the u k fan posse are sending good thoughts his way!!!

Sounds like, at least, he made the right choice to go for a house...who knows how much further those punks might have taken things!?

You will never find me in a Xscape after 7pm.

I hope he feels better soon and they catch the buggers.

I don't know why though, but they seem a haven for violent crime at night. Maybe it's the fact they are quite pricy, or that they have late licence bars, but they have problems at all their locations after dark.

But it the day, they are increadibly family friendly.

I would love for one of these Disney Urban Entertainment centres to come to the UK, but they could easily suffer the same fate.

Although the UK is safer than the US as far as gun crime goes, in terms of drunken loutish behaviour and assault, the figures are very poor.

Sarah worries about me constantly on the road. I wish she wouldn't, but poor Patrick's story has caused her to worry again.

Sounds like a fun place (daytime, anyway!)...weird that they would attract the criminal element even though pricy (is loittering easy, like in DTD?)...

Lots of drunken loutish behaviour and assault, got it.

<---checks U.K. off list of "places to see".

And Mr X, you've been to Orlando and LA, you'll be find in the UK. Remember, I have to show you cool restaurants, bands and bars!!!!
