Growing up in the Philly area and being a season ticketholder to the Eagles, Vince Papale has always been a popular figure even though he only played a few years.

In fact, the first "famous person" I ever met was Vince Papale. This was around 1980-81 and I was in 3rd or 4th grade when he came to speak at my school. The only thing I remember about it was that my class was sitting up front and that the female teachers were even more excited than the kids.

I made my first trip to Philly just a couple of weeks ago. I think that made the movie much more exciting when I saw it than it would have been otherwise. Foks there sure were hyped about it when I visited!

And when I say commotion, I mean who was getting beat up.
