Lil Thunder first chose "Whisky" because his whiskers were different than his siblings, I said "well his dad was sorta whiskey colored and when he gets big he will be too" but Mrs Thunder wasn't too fond of naming our pup after booze. I called him "Buddy" the first day, which was cool cuzz I expect him to be our good friend and "Buddy" is the name of one of my favorite musicians. I also thought about "Muddy" but that's more for a brown dog. I was trying to think of something "gold" related, but the gals did'nt like any of them. So far "Whiskey" seems to stick, but most of the time we call him Puppy. We do need to choose a permanent name ASAP any suggestions?

My grandma had a Brittany Spaniel for many years named Buddy. It worked well, becuse he really just liked to hang around and not bother anyone. I kind feel like his name should be Charles. I don't really know why, but I just like it. Does he act like a Charles?
