Not someone weird, so please don't post your home addresses, folks!

This is her last year of highschool and I'm not sure how much longer she wants to hang out with dear old mom.

I live in the Los Angeles area. So far we have seen most of Monterrey, some amusement parks and local as well as state fairs.

The weirdest thing I think we saw was the Winchester Mystery House.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what we can go see that is "different" or an "oddity"? (Again, no home addresses, please LOL!)

I am not particular. If it's a big ball of twine or a tree growing upside down, that's great.

If it's someplace you have been that you feel might have an odd beauty about it, please let me know. I'm open to ANY sightseeing suggestion.

    Thanks in advance!

Awesome resorts and water parks in the Phoenix area. But hey...it can't touch the beach. :(

Its a very appealing old mining town build on a hilside about an hour and a half north of Phoenix. There were about 4 or 5 major fires and mining accidents that happened within the past 150 yrs that killed most of the town. The main hotel is the Grand Hotel and it used to be the hospital befor it was converted.

If you do head east, there's always the "World's Biggest Thermometer" in Baker, CA, for a stop along the way. And once you get further, Valley of Fire in Nevada is cool and then into Utah for Bryce Canyon and Zion... Beautiful!

And I just thought of something weird to go see in AZ... The ladies' room(s) at Sundevil Stadium with it's ridiculously awful "space-saving" (I guess) toilets with no place to actuall 'sit.' Heading, unsuspecting, into one of those stalls is definitely one of those ACCCKKK!bathroom moments that make you want to turn around and leave and just 'hold it.' *LOL*

It is truly a spectacular area that is unique in many ways.

    Umm..been there, done that LOL!

Although, once we "landed" in Michigan it was a good time. Although I don't think Uncle Pink realized I wasn't old enough to drink yet, or he didn't care ;)
