The things I would like to know is about the weather so I know what to pack, best places to eat, in what order should we see the parks and how long would/should we spent on each park. Also if there is any other event going on at this time. We do want to see the new block party bash prade/show.

Also, I think the Flower fest at EPCOT may be going on and possibly the Princess/Pirate Parties at the MK since they were being extended for some unknown reason.

Happy 50th and enjoy your vacation.

It's really nice, and there are concerts (like Peter Noone, Davy Jones, etc.) during the Festival.

As far as restaurants, it depends on what you are looking for. I would suggest getting a book like the Unofficial Guide or Passporter to start with, or looking over at Allearsnet for menus, which would give you an idea of restaurants. Some do need to be booked well in advance.

Every day there is a live band playing, if you check disney's site, it should have the full list. and if you plan on dining at any of the full service restaurants in Epcot, you should definitely make those reservations now due to the flower show. The crowds shouldn't be too bad when you come, its right after easter but still in the middle of spring break. There is not perfect order to which parks to visit on which days. If you are staying on property, take advantage of the extra magic hours both in the morning and at night, that way you will have the other parts of your day to explore WDW or park hop. They say Tuesday is typically the slowest day for the magic kingdom, there early morning is monday. With this being your first time, you are probably going to spend more than one day at the magic Kingdom. If you really like animals, you can turn animal kingdom into a full day, but it usually closes at 6pm, which gives you a chance to do something else. Epcot is definitely a full day, and the disney studios is probably half a day depending on how much you want to do, don't miss any of the shows, and do not miss FANTASMIC!

    MOST POPULAR ATTRACTIONS:
in epcot the most popular ride is soarin, even when the park is dead there is still a 70 minute wait. It is the same film as the one in california adventure. Other than that, Test Track, Mission Space, and the seas with nemo and freinds are the most popular.

In animal Kingdom; expedition everest, Kilmanjaro safari, Dinosaur, finding nemo musical, Legend of the lion king, and of course the animals (they are everywhere!)

In the disney studios, tower of terror (a little diffrent than the one in california adventure) rock and roller coaster, star tours, the lights motor action stunt show, the great movie ride, the indiana jones stunt show, the little mermaid musical, and of course fantasmic once again :)

In Magic Kingdom...everything! the newest attraction is the monsters inc laugh floor comedy show, its funny once, but don't stress if you miss it. Mickey's philharmagic, the three mountains, haunted mansion, ect.

The block party should be starting in the beginning of april, so you got a good chance. Also they will be starting soft openings of Toy Story mania in april, so you may have a chance.

A lot of the restaurants on property are great, some of my favorites are the California grill (contemporary resort)hollywood brown derby (disney studios) Tonys town square (magic kingdom) Le cellier (canada pavillion at epcot. Also the coral reef at epcot, where you can see into the massive aquarium while you dine. You can make dining reservations 180 days in advance. Also both dinner show are great; Hoop de doo and the sprit of aloah. I think the food at aloha is better but the hoop de doo show is better.

Also, look into the pirate and princess party.

I hope you have a great vacation and a wonderful birthday!

    Jon

I would base the order on which parks have EMH and what the individual operating hours are on that given day. As to how much time to spend I would read about the attractions & shows and base that discission on my must sees.

Have a wonderful time and welcome to the 50's. I usually spend my birthday or right after @ WDW every year. I celebrated my double nickle there this last Dec.;)

Its a generic cup that can be used for unlimited refills at all the wdw resort hotels. Also animal kingdom has a 32. oz cup you can buy for about 9 dollars, refills are 68 cents each and are unlimited. Animal kingodm is the only theme park that offers a re-fill service.

We had wanted to do breakfest or lunch but for all six days it was booked . Thanks for the info on the drink cup we are staying at a wdw resort so that will come in handy.
