At first I thought New years day would be real crowded and then lighter crowds after, but 1/2 is a Saturday and 1/3 a Sunday so maybe the whole weekend will be crowded? Any thoughts?

Now as to 1/1 and 1/2, etc., some of my most enjoyed days have been on New Year's day, especially early on 1/1. Going on 1/2 was delightful, even when it lands on a weekend. I've never been on 1/3, so I can't say. I would imagine they would be slower, however, than you think.
