DAK is the closest to US 192. And while it is in the farthest southwestern corner of the park, it's the closest to the value resorts. I don't think DAK's positioning has anything to do with Disney putting in more attractions, or trying to keep people away from Universal, a park that's what, 20 miles away?

There isn't really a demand for hotels in both places. If families are going to make a choice, Disney needs to have compelling attractions nearby to tip the scales in their favor. Animal Kingdom is the closest proximity park to their newest development -- strategically placed as far from the other Orlando area attractions as possible.

Again, new attractions in DAK simply as a draw to FC doesn't make a bit of sense to me.
