Please correct me if i am wrong :)

Hopefully that simulater ride is true. I don't even care what it is lol, just another attraction and not a completely cloned one like everything is good enough for me.

As for the Autopia, it actually gives me a little hope as its the first all-electric cars being built. Certainly sounds different and a little exciting, but its still just an autopia. I won't be complaining if its GOOD though.

How could two rumored ideas could be SOOO different from one another?

My guess with this park and I'm sorry to say this is you're probably right TDLFAN and we are getting the stupid fountains.

But, I'm hoping to be proven wrong obviously (but rarely am lol) and it really is a REAL attraction with seats, a story, stuff moving and etc. If you look around the park, they have about 5-6 of these kinds of things, right? ;D

Also how will an electric car work?

How can you steer the car when it is on a rail and picking up power like other darkrides or Midgetopia?

Does anyone know if Disneyland get an electric Autopia when the Chevorn contract runs out?

People can experience an exciting emergency landing simulation in a Spaceship, which will fly through fountains and water.

Before the HKDL was completed, HK people was never given any information about the park size and number of attractions, they only mention we will enjoy the cheapest admission fee compared to the world disneys.

Now, they confirmed the new rides are coming, but they never mentioned the official info about the UFO cool zone, disney is misleading the media to tell us the ride is about water and spaceship. I feel kinda ripped off if its gonna be a fountain!!!!

...yeah, welcome to HKDL where they have come up with some of the most creative 'attractions' I've seen in a long time. Adding stuff like City Hall and Snow White's grotto is nothing close to an attraction.

Look, if this stuff doesn't have a queue And/OR at least some kind of story componet to me, then its not an attraction in my book. Its sad that this ultra cheap park have to stoop sooo low to build these tiny attractions and basically 'trick' people to think they are more than what they are.

Yeah, just chalk that up to great media spin, downplay the negatives, play up the positives ;). Wildghostz, personal question, I take it you are a HK resident right? Have you been to the park and what do you think of it personally?

I have my bias with this park (i.e. I think it sucks ;)), but in all fairness, I haven't been yet although I know pretty much everything to know its a disappointing park IMO, but what did you think of it? What is the word-of-mouth over there? Do people like the park? Is it exciting to have a Disney park and etc?

which newspapers are u referring to?
i read one newspaper, they quote it from LP (LaughingPlace.com) but to my surprise, their tranlation into chinese was incorrect or misleading.

yes i grew up in HK for years...

um... most of the tourists (mainly from China) said the park is lovely, and they said they would come back for a second visit. But i bet most of the mainland Chinese have never been to oversea disneyland, if they did they would not give such too positive comments on HKDL.

Since HKDL is small, lack of attractions, it gave me a feeling that Im totally not proud of having a DL in Hong kong....
