I have a blu-ray player that was bought about a year and a half ago.

Both Tron and Tangled won't play on it - I just get the castle picture and it's stuck there.

They won't play on my laptop, either, even though that is Blu-Ray as well.

Is anyone else having this issue?

    1) If your player has wi-fi connectivity, connect to a wireless network and perform the update.

    2) If not, download the software update and burn to a disc on your computer, then load the disc onto your blu-ray player.

    3) Hook an ethernet cable up from your router to your player and perform the update that way.

I believe both Tangled and TRON 3D were bundled with 2D discs, so that might be the issue.

You can check your version from the menu in the player (probably under setup) and then visit the manufacturer's website to download (unless you have the wi-fi option).
