I think the folks who brought us that beautiful MSEP promotional spot are at it again: it starts out with a vaguely-Snow-White-looking woman (could it be the same woman who walked through the Yesterland warehouse carrying the lightbulb?) leaning out of a Skyway car to collect snow off the Matterhorn . . . .

Anybody seen it? I think it wasn't until the second or third time that I noticed the beginning.

I have seen it several times and did not realize what was happening until you pointed it out.
I did make a comment about the Mickey Mouse snow flake though.

I think it's weird that they're using a Skyway bucket. Why make such an obvious reference to something that's been gone for 23 years and won't return any time soon? They could have just as easily ridden a Matterhorn bobsled to find the snowflake, which would have reinforced the park's current offerings

In general, the ad really doesn't tell you much about what's going on at DLR for the holidays. Other than World of Color, there really wasn't anything in it that seemed real and/or exclusive to the holidays. Previous years have had much more compelling ads (like the snowman one or Joy to the Small World), IMO

Well, yes, it's weird, but then so was the MSEP spot. Weird in a fun, "geek porn" way.

Maybe it's just a nod to the past. "Remember the magic..." I don't know if this is the other video hbquikcomjamesl referenced. It's all nostalgia.

Of course, I'm wondering if they will be mass-producing the "Mickey Mouse Snowflake" seen in the spot as a Christmas tree ornament. I know I'd buy one.

I would/will probably get suckered into that as well; even though we have too many Disney related ornaments.

And yet, given the amount of time I've spent in DL over the course of the summer run of the MSEP (3 DL-only visits on the promotional ticket, and a separate visit on a 1-day hopper), on top of a few days at WDW around a year ago, I kind of have my doubts that I'll be visiting while the Christmas decorations are up. It's not like I'm still a passholder; it's not like there's still free preferred parking for passholders that's a 5-minute walk from the gate; it's not like gas is still $1.25 a gallon; and lately, they've given me as many reasons NOT to reinstate my pass as they have TO reinstate it.
