The next day we were in MK and one the DVC stands was there and I told him that the DVC CM would answer all his questions. I went to get ice cream and came back to find my DH talking and asking questions. Good for him, the next thing I knew he was booking a walk through on the day we check out.
Before we knew it, it was a piece of cake and now our home is AKV. So everything is AWESOME!!!!!

Especially now that I am retired and the DVC is long paid for (other than monthly maintenance), I get almost free Disney vacations. Especially on the Cruise Line where there are no park tickets to buy and all dining is paid for. Our only out of pocket expense is alcohol and souvenirs.

We usually spent at least two of those at WDW. My present wife gets much less vacation than that, but she really enjoys the Disney Cruises (my late wife never wanted to be out of the sight of land when on the water) so now we use most of our points for that. We like the Outside Staterooms with Veranda, and they take quite a few points.
